About us…

Pilgrim Paths Ltd was established in April 2012 and

is dedicated to supporting and providing creative and

reflective prayer experiences for wherever you are on life’s path.

Pilgrim Paths Ltd is a prayer ministry developed and managed by Barbara Wallace.

Welcome to our website. I hope that you will find plenty here

to inspire, challenge, support and engage you…

I have a background in teaching, lecturing and training in schools, university and adult education. I have held posts of responsibility in a diocese, with national conferences and in project management.

In 2006 I moved to Broadstairs, Kent and set up a training and support company called Volunteering in Parishes. For the next 5 years I travelled the UK delivering workshops to over a thousand clergy and lay leaders on the recruitment and support of volunteers for ministry.

It was on these journeys around the country that I came to know and explore labyrinths. Whether it was at Hayes Conference Centre, Wisdom House, Guildford Cathedral, Norwich Cathedral, Copthorne Church, Kent University or Battery Park, New York I felt drawn to walk them and experience the opportunity for mindful prayer and reflection they offered.

Exploring them further I became excited at how labyrinths were being embraced by people from many walks of life and being built in a variety of places including parks, hospices, universities, retreat centres and along coastlines. In 2011 I trained to become a Labyrinth Facilitator and began to offer labyrinths to those who would like to explore this ancient path for prayer, relaxation, reflection and meditation.

Since April 2012 I have been leading labyrinth retreat days, times of prayer and workshops as well as designing and producing resources to support times of prayer and contemplation… you will find most of what I do on this website.

If you have any feedback, suggestions or requests I would be pleased to hear from you.

Blessings on your path
